SP Commission Shop is a family-run commission agency in Mirch Mandi, Kunri, Sindh — connecting growers with wholesale traders, processors and exporters.
Our History
Built one honest transaction at a time
Kunri is known across the world as the home of Pakistani red chilli. Each season the mandi fills with trolleys of sun-dried produce, and the difference between a good season and a poor one for a farming family often comes down to who handles their lot.
SP Commission Shop was established to be the shop farmers could hand their crop to without worry. Over the decades the business grew from serving neighbouring growers to representing consignments for wholesale markets across Pakistan and supporting export-bound lots — but the operating principle never changed: weigh openly, grade honestly, settle promptly.
Today the shop handles whole and dry red chillies, chilli powder coordination, seeds, coriander, turmeric, cumin and other seasonal commodities. Growers, wholesalers, processing units and exporters all deal with the same standard of account-keeping.
We remain deliberately hands-on. Lots are inspected by people who have graded chilli for years, calls are answered by the family, and commitments are made only when they can be kept.

Prem Kumar Maheshwari
Founder & CEO
Prem Kumar Maheshwari learned this trade on the mandi floor and has led SP Commission Shop through decades of changing markets, weather cycles and buyer expectations.
He is known in Kunri for two things: an accurate eye for chilli grade, and an insistence that the grower sees every number that affects his payment. He negotiates in the open, keeps written accounts and follows up after delivery.
For buyers he is a dependable source of market truth — including when the honest answer is to wait. That reputation is the asset this business protects above all else.
