Whole red chillies from Kunri, Sindh

Whole sun-dried red chilli is the flagship produce of the Kunri mirch mandi and the largest share of what passes through our shop each season. Lots are received from growers in the surrounding belt, graded in the open in front of the seller, and presented to wholesale, grinding and export buyers.

Colour depth, stalk condition and moisture are what separate a premium lot from an average one — so grading is done manually on every consignment rather than by sample alone.

Why buyers choose our lots

Colour-first grading

Deep uniform red with minimal bleaching is graded separately so premium demand pays a premium rate.

Lot consolidation

Several grower lots can be consolidated into one consistent grade for full-truck and container volumes.

Transparent weighing

Weights, deductions and the settled rate are recorded and shared in writing with the grower.

Packing & dispatch

  • Jute or PP sacks in 20 kg, 25 kg, 40 kg or buyer-specified weights
  • Machine or hand stitched, lot marked for traceability
  • Stored on raised stacking in ventilated shade before dispatch

For buyers

Tell us your colour, moisture and pack requirement and we will present matching lots as they arrive, with sampling arranged before loading.

For growers

Bring your consignment to our shop in the Kunri mandi. Grading, weighing and payment are handled the same day with a written account.

Frequently asked

What moisture level should a whole chilli lot be at?
Between 10% and 12%. Above 14% invites both a rate discount and storage risk from mould and colour loss.
Can you supply container-scale volume?
Yes. Multiple grower lots are consolidated to one uniform grade, with packing and lot marking to buyer specification.
